Inside A Heart

When I approached yours,
I was surprised how it
Opened up to let me enter.

I walked slowly and softly,
Marveling at its vastness.

It was then I knew
That I was the first person who’d explored
These walls

Once inside,
enveloped by its fresh warmth
I stopped
And listened

For what else does one do
Inside a heart.
